asking Allah for things that a human being needs or wants. In the Quran, Allah
orders His servants to pray to Him. Allah says:
"Pray to your Lord humbly and secretly. Surely, He does not like those who cross
the limits." (Quran 7:55)
"Say (on My behalf): O servants of Mine who have acted recklessly against their
own selves, do not despair of Allah's mercy. Surely, Allah will forgive all sins. Surely,
He is the One who is the most Forgiving, the ever-lasting Merciful." (Quran
39:53)
